The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
As a 'returnee' I knew what to expect and was not disappointed. It's hard to pick a favourite camp as they are all so different but I think Two Mashatus holds my heart as it was my first safari experience many years ago.
The camps were ready for us as we arrived at each one and any little hitches (eg missing towels) were soon sorted.
Drink was plentiful though the choice for any wine drinkers was limited, the food was delicious especially the stews/casseroles cooked on the fire in the potjie

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?
Booking through yourselves takes a lot of worry out of travelling. I know any question or query will be answered promptly, willingly and pleasantly so I can't think of any improvements needed!
Do you have any other feedback for us?
There have been some management changes at Horizon Botswana and I was a little apprehensive before arriving. I had no need to worry, any changes were for the better. There was a small blip at Johannesburg when our transfer driver didn't appear but having the group What's app helped sort it out relatively quickly.
The guides were amazing as always and we followed our instructions to the letter during our exciting elephant encounter (we were charged - so exhilarating, a highlight for me and satisfied a long held desire which probably makes me a little weird!) we were all perfectly safe.
I was with a great group, some solo travellers, friends travelling together and a mum and son. Some, like me, had been before and some we politely dubbed 'safari virgins' but it made a great mix. Wonderful memories.
