Time has flown and it's been 24 years since we first started selling riding holidays. If you have already been on a riding holiday with In The Saddle we hope you found we listened to what you wanted from your holiday. Your feedback tells us that 92% rated our service excellent and 98% as good or above. If you haven't booked with us before, read on to find out more about what we do.

Our Service

The Rides section of the website is packed full of detail about each ride and our specialists are easily contactable by phone or email to help you narrow down the choice.

The In The Saddle brochure, now in its 25th edition, has a new fresh feeling with lots of information about riding holidays to really show you the broad range of riding holidays available.

Both the brochure and website use our unique colour coding system for Riding Experience which is a quick guide to ride suitability. Using either the brochure or website you can get an idea of what rides are available that fit your budget and riding experience.

The next step is to contact us by phone or email. You will then get direct contact with one of our specialists, all of whom have travelled widely and know the rides in detail. Find out more about our specialists here.

Your specialist will be able to talk to you in detail about what riding you can expect on the trip. They will also check availability for your chosen dates, confirm the price and exactly what is included and advise you on the best way of getting there.

When you are ready to go ahead you can either complete an online booking form or send in a printed form to confirm the reservation. At this stage we also ask for a deposit which is usually 20% of the total cost. If it is a higher deposit percentage we will let you know.

We then send you a confirmation itinerary by email which includes plenty of background information about the destination and the ride together with the essential “Recommended Packing List."

The balance of your holiday will be due ten weeks prior to departure.

Approximately two weeks before departure we send you a personalised Final Itinerary.
