Time has flown and it's been 23 years since we first started organising riding holidays. Our Service

Our most recent brochure is a good starting place when researching riding holidays. The brochure, now in its 23rd edition, has a new fresh feeling that really shows you the broad range of riding holidays available. The Rides section of the website is packed full of detail about each ride and our specialists are easily contactable by phone or email to help you narrow down the choice.

Both the brochure and website use our unique colour coding system which is a quick guide to ride suitability. Using either you can get an idea of what rides are available that fit your budget and riding experience.

Whether you chose to look at the brochure or website first the next step is to contact us by phone or email. You will then get direct contact with one of our specialists, all of whom have travelled widely and know the rides in detail. Find out more about our specialists here.

Your specialist will be able to talk to you in detail about what riding you can expect on the trip. They will also check availability for your chosen dates, confirm the price and exactly what is included, organise your flights or if you prefer to arrange your own travel, advise you on the best airlines and routes.

When you are ready to go ahead you can either complete an online booking form or send in a printed form to confirm the reservation. At this stage we also ask for a deposit which is usually 20% of the total cost.

We will then send you a confirmation itinerary by email which includes plenty of background information about the destination and the ride together with the essential “Recommended Packing List."

The balance of your holiday will be due ten weeks prior to departure. Then approximately two weeks before departure we will send you a personalised Final Itinerary which will also include e-tickets for any flights that we have booked.

During your holiday or if you need to contact In The Saddle out of normal office hours you will have an emergency contact number. Then shortly after you return from your trip your specialist will be in touch to request feedback on your experience.
