Linda who has been on 2 In The Saddle rides. Perfect! | The horses and instruction were superb and appropriate for my level of riding. All the riding facilities and care for the horses are exemplary, and also extremely relaxing for the rider. Everything about the yard works really well - including the adorable, friendly Jack Russell dogs who make one feel at home! I really enjoyed watching fellow riders’ lessons from the glamorous and comfortable viewing lounge/bar. The instructors are brilliant and intuitively gauge how to get the best from each rider. I will definitely return.

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

Lovely views and great walks. Very clean and extremely comfortable. I really enjoyed the Portuguese food served at Quinta do Rol. Rita, the owner, took great effort to produce seasonal, oh so fresh specialities. I really enjoyed learning about Portuguese culture from Rita. All the accommodation staff were extremely friendly and helpful, but above all, Rita made the whole experience SO special. Rita also went above and beyond helping us make the most of our stay, suggesting sightseeing trips to the magnificent medieval walled town Obidos and the Albocaca monastery, and arranging reservations at a fantastic seafood restaurant in Peniche.
