The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
Accommodations a mixed bag - night 3 was terrible ie/ shower that made a bath tub of whole bathroom & dirty room but camping was really well done. Night 2 was the best of all accommodations.
Food was plentiful & good but the timing was challenging - day 1 dinner was 9:30/10pm & never before 8:30 on any nights. Lunch was sometimes about 5pm. With jet lag & early starts I could have skipped dinner completely (did one night) but felt I would miss out on the group

Wildflowers were extraordinary. Not sure how resilient I would have felt doing this ride in poor weather
Imogen (this is their first In The Saddle holiday) Brilliant & intense | Riding was fast & intense & exceeded expectations. Matched w a lovely, comfortable elderly pony who didn’t have a gallop gear so missed out on the rush of the races so may have undersold my riding capabilities (1:20m show jumper riding 2 horses a day) but still really loved the whole holiday. Riding in western saddles was SO comfortable I’ll never do an English saddle ride again.
