The emphasis on quality extends to every aspect of this ranch. As well as riding there is extensive fly fishing, trap shooting, archery, a full service spa and a host of other activities. There has been a huge investment in facilities and this is mirrored in the care and attention you receive from the staff and guides who focus on ensuring the guest comes first.
It’s a delicate balance but we believe the ranch has succeeded in retaining the relaxed ambiance of Montana whilst attaining the level of luxury and fine dining associated with membership of Relais et Chateaux.
This is a “once in a lifetime” holiday which will never be forgotten.
There are 75 horses at the ranch, primarily quarter horses. The riding style is Western.
There are a range of trails to suit all levels of riders. Within small riding groups you can explore the area on half and full day rides. The pace depends on the terrain and may include loping. Shorter trails will be arranged for less experienced riders and children.
Arena and roping lessons can also be arranged. Lessons are a great opportunity for beginner riders to gain confidence or for intermediate riders to discover new techniques.
The ranch has four different styles of accommodation. There are nine rooms in the Granite Lodge, three Historic Barn Suites, ten Luxury Canvas Cabins and seven Private Homes. No two rooms in the Granite Lodge are alike and all offer luxury, style and authenticity. A stay in one of the Historic Barn suites is a unique experience and the Private Homes are great for families and groups of friends.
There are four Family Canvas Cabins, four Classic Canvas Cabins and two Speciality Canvas Cabins. All have a gas stove, screened porch and a deck facing the creek. In addition to an attached bathroom within the Cabin, each cabin has a private bathroom in the bathhouse, accessible via a short, lighted walkway. The Classic Canvas Cabins have either a king bed or two queen beds. The Family Canvas Cabins have two rooms separated by a curtain; one room with a king bed and the other with two twin beds. The Family cabins are ideal for families of four or five.

Montana experiences extremes of climate and weather. Summers are hot with mild evenings but as you're in the mountains, the situation can change quickly so dress in layers.
In winters there is a high chance of snow so activities at the ranch at this time include skiing, snowmobiling, sleigh rides and ice skating.
There is something for everyone to enjoy from riding, fishing, clay shooting to the ten pin bowling alley. So many activities to try that five nights will go by in a flash.
The guides and staff are there to ensure you have the best possible holiday. Use their advice to get the maximum from your stay while enjoying some downtime as well.
