Ride Report
This great riding holiday is in the north of Portugal. Pedro and his wife Anabel, the owners and guides, are very knowledgeable about the region and in particular the wolves. They first moved to the area to make a documentary film about the wolves and stayed on in the region.
You stay in a beautifully renovated village house about 10 minutes drive from where the horses are kept at Pedro & Anabel’s home. The home cooked food is excellent with some great dishes for vegetarians since both Pedro and wife are vegetarian.
Help get your horse from the field, groom and tack up and make your horse comfortable again after the ride. That’s all part of the holiday. Pedro loves his horses like family. He is very knowledgeable and will give you guidance on how he likes things done.
This is northern Portugal; the weather can be changeable and so do come prepared for anything.
