The Great Trek

Kyrgyzstan is an incredible country which not many people have heard of. When I was told I would be riding there, I had to check the map myself. Near China, I discovered this mountainous country to be friendly, beautiful and just perfect for riding.

This ride is a great opportunity for a digital detox and a chance to immerse yourself in a different culture. I loved staying in real yurts with local families who welcomed us with open arms. Being able to get involved with looking after the herds of sheep and goats, milking the horses and cooking made this more than just a holiday, but an experience I will never forget.
