Ride Report

View Ride

If you are looking for a trail ride which takes you through rural Provence and all the beauty she contains, then you really should consider joining one of these ride itineraries.

The horses are well behaved and sensible mounts that know their job extremely well, and safely carry you through this wonderful region in the South of France.

During this week you will get to immerse yourself into a relaxed traditional French life away from the tourist hot-spots the South of France can be infamous for. You will stay a local guesthouses and gites, and often eat alongside the owner of the establishment at their kitchen dining table (giving you a chance to practice your spoken French). These guesthouses offer genuine French home cooked food, and there is plenty of that. Lunches out on horseback will usually always include the tasty freshly baked French bread, and local cheeses, alongside the wines this region is proud to successfully produce.

Obviously the Camargue is a notable area to visit whilst in this region and is famed for its marshy plains with flamingos, white horses and black bulls. But the other trails on offer also offer excellent opportunities to see the hidden treasure of this area, that inspired so many applauded artists to paint some of their finest work.
