Ride Report
In June 2015 I had the opportunity to join an eight night mobile safari with Kaskazi Safaris in Tanzania.
What set this safari apart from others I had been on was the interaction with the local people. Together with the fantastic riding and game viewing, these days spent on safari in Tanzania produced a treasure trove of memories.
The Kaskazi horses are well-trained, responsive, enthusiastic and a joy to ride. The knowledgeable guides lead a fun and pacey ride, and so to join this safari you should be a confident, competent rider happy at all paces in open order. If you enjoy a fast paced ride, perhaps jumping natural obstacles and hopefully the opportunity to run with the game, then this is a safari not to be missed.
If your safari dream is all about the game, then the Serengeti Migration Safari is one for your bucket list. Of course we can never guarantee game sightings, but these safaris are timed to give you the best chance of seeing the migration of wildebeest from the Maasai Mara back to the Serengeti. This safari has the same guide, same horses, same crew; what’s not to like?
