Ride Report

View Ride     Abigail Wood

This is a real off-grid adventure, which takes you from the virgin steppes of Argentina, through the vast mountain chain of the Andes and into the verdant Valdivian forests of Chile.

During the trail there are plenty of river crossings, steep ascents and winding descents to negotiate. Although the pace is steady, you need to be a competent rider, balanced in your seat and fit enough for long days in the saddle.

Accommodation is a mixture of basic camping and rural homestays.

A real highlight of this expedition-style ride is gaining an insight into the lives of the locals you meet along the way – the incredible people who call this remote and beautiful land their home.
