The Riding
The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
The accommodation offers beautiful views and has very attractive landscaping and a pristine pool. Due to the small nature of the hotel it was often possible to swim by yourself and the pool area was very relaxing.
The food was wonderful, the owner is very proud of his Greek cuisine, portions were a bit large at times so I rapidly learnt to cut out the starters and have some of the delicious salads for lunch.
Before Your Holiday
Did you have all of the information you needed to:
How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?
Don’t know if it is a recent change or dependent on the time of year but all lunches and dinners were ordered from the menu rather than having buffets served at the table (with the exception of the ride that goes to a different restaurant at lunchtime)
If people are going at this time of year I would advise 2 water bottles rather than 1 as there is little shade where you ride and other than the restaurant ride no opportunity to refill your bottle on the way round.
How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?
All seamless as usual
Do you have any other feedback for us?
I wanted somewhere to relax after a pretty stressful year and this was the ideal opportunity to enjoy just that.
Anne-Marie who has been on 33 In The Saddle rides. Relaxing time in the sunshine | Riding was as per description in the details given, the terrain not allowing for many canter episodes but these was compensated for by the views. Richard the guide was very friendly and always checking that everyone and the horses were o.k. I was mainly riding with a very nice German family who left the day before me so I was fortunate enough to enjoy a ride just with Richard on my final day. I rode 4 different horses, Laboriosa, Iris, Barbas and Athina. Athina was my favourite!
