Sierra Nevada - Spain

Ali who has been on 2 In The Saddle rides. Breath-takingly beautiful | It was such a complete privilege to ride such noble stunning horses, through the unspoiled mountains of the Sierra Nevada. The fresh air of being 2,000 metres up plus the smell of the herbs as the horse passed through them was so magical.

Dallas, Mordechai, Jeanette and Blossom were excellent guides, they brought humour and fun to our rides, whilst ensure everything ran smoothly and safely. Our picnics were delicious and the locations perfect.

The horses are beautiful, I was fortunate to ride the very lovely Dilar who thoroughly looked after me. She was incredibly safe on some very tough terrain and not your typical trekking horse- we had fun.

Thank you to Becky for recommending this trip, it was such an adventure and one I will never forget- truly stunning in so many ways.

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

Delicious Picnics which Dallas cooked from scratch, great salads, frittatas, patattas bravas, bread and cheeses- all totally scrummy!
The Breakfasts were continental and plenty of it. Fruit, biscuits, wines etc were available for evenings in next to the log burner- very cosy!

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?

As discussed with Becky, the brochure you produce was excellent and was widely used for information for the whole ride (this included two Americans and two from Germany who sadly didnt have such a robust service from their holiday guides).

How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?

Nothing, all good.

Do you have any other feedback for us?

Just please ensure anyone who is thinking about doing this trip is prepared for the level of fitness and riding ability required- they are not trekking ponies and the terrain is pretty tough in places.
