They only start check-in in Catania two hours before departure and there is no baggage drop. So you shouldn't arrive too early.
Some days were with a bit more endurance than I needed, but those were the conditions.
Beautiful views, blooming orchids and mimosas and exciting cultural history.
There is poisonous giant fennel growing everywhere - can eat through riding breeches. There are also prickly thorny yellow broom-like bushes with pea flowers. Chaps are recommended.
Fortunately the weather was really nice.
The host couple put a lot of professional work into everything. Would like to visit again.
Luggage storage in the center of Catania and transportation to the airport went well.
Michael who has been on 4 In The Saddle rides. Rode a fine Anglo-Arab.
