The Riding
The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
The accommodation varied quite a bit but this gave us the opportunity to have a bit more of an insight into Bulgarian leisure.
The base camp was superbly comfortable and hospitable and gave me the best nights sleep.
Some hotels had kettles, some not (I love a cuppa on waking so took my own kit), some provided water others not , most had fridges, some empty.
The spa facilities equally varied. Hotel Chinar not great the rest fine to fabulous.
Food was brilliant, whether at the hotel or at a restaurant. (The only exception was the buffet at the winery, which otherwise was very luxurious). Picnic lunches delicious too.
Before Your Holiday
Did you have all of the information you needed to:
How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?
I think you do really well in providing info. So can’t think I needed anything else.
How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?
Nothing I can think of.
Deborah who has been on 9 In The Saddle rides. A thoroughly enjoyable week. | Riding was superb and varied - largely as advertised. Some good long canters, long trots.
Sadles comfortable and in extremely good condition
Rode same horse all week so really got to know him ( splendid horse called Hassan)
Only sadness is we were unable to ride abreast as other riders not confident / able enough.
Ability well managed e.g. on a couple of rides one rider was advised not to ride as pace was faster. Spare horse was led on the ride by guide.
Alpha riders worked well as a team a well oiled team both regarding horses and the ground support. (ITS comment: We are delighted that you enjoyed your time in Bulgaria.)
