The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
Most of the hotels were of an excellent standard, but Hotel Chinar (the last night at Hisarya) was very old fashioned and one of the group had no electricity in her room all night. It would be good if an alternative hotel to this one could be found.
The picnics prepared by Katerina and Monika were fabulous and they set up a proper table and chairs for us at lunchtime.
In the evening we ate in the hotel restaurants where there was always a variety of delicious fresh healthy salads followed by a choice of main course all freshly prepared. It was the best food I’ve had on a riding holiday!
Before Your Holiday
Did you have all of the information you needed to:
How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?
Everything was great! Lois was really helpful in getting the holiday booked up and answering any questions I had.
How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?
All fine thanks!
Julie who has been on 11 In The Saddle rides. Lovely country, horses, hosts | Bulgaria is a lovely country to ride in. Lots of open land for long canters, although this time around there were noticeably more electric fences going up which inevitably slowed things a little.
Vasko was a great trail guide, unfailingly good humoured, safety conscious but also willing to move on where the terrain was suitable.
He, Katerina and Monika took great care of all the horses especially in the rather warm temperatures we had that week.
It’s a lovely family run affair and they go out of their way to make sure you have the best possible holiday
