Jill (this is their first In The Saddle holiday) Incredible experience … will be back! | I was assigned two horses the whole week , they completely matched the description I had given them . That suited me as I was happy to stay on those two . My friend rode different ones as she wanted that experience, which they gave her.
Horses are very well cared for and happy in their jobs, fit , agile , sure footed
We had amazing rides over hours abs miles and miles of terrain and very different experiences . Lots of long canters which we loved !
You get so close to the animals it’s unreal! Guides are fabulous!!

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?

Becky was amazing from start to finish

We had to change booking as our friend was injured and could not go and Becky sorted this for us minimal stress

How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?

A little confusion about the transfer cost and that wasn’t known till we got there , but not a reflection on Becky or Ants hill .. more so of crossed wires

Be handy to know going next time what the options would be to save money

Myself and friend stayed at Ants Hill in the Lookout lodge. I’ve been to some places but can honestly say this has been the best place and one of the best experiences I have ever had.
We could not fault one thing … quality, care , attention to detail , food , staff , riding .. it was all 100%.
The riding was special and the horses are in amazing condition and well
Loved by the guides. They are fit and agile and I had the best experience riding Roger and Shenzi … I cried when I left them!
All the guides and staff are super knowledgable and go above and beyond to make your experience the best it can be , nothing is a bother to them. We went on some amazing long fast rides . The scenery is superb and sundowners are breathtaking standing with a G&T!
The staff are amazing , and you come away feeling like you’ve made new friends . We met some lovely people, who were also there on holiday and we all had the best fun and laughed continuously. We have made memories for life and some great friends.
We are booking up again very soon!
