AHBS is a very well-run operation. Great to meet staff we saw almost two decades ago. Lots of smiling faces.
Given the time of year, we were fortunate to have a fair amount of water on the ground, but none falling from the skies.
Good wildlife sightings, in particular the completely relaxed wild dog and hyena encounters from horseback. Heaps of elephants.
Graham who has been on 3 In The Saddle rides. Energetic, fun and relaxing. | The daily format is great but over the week becomes a bit predictable - not just the timings, but even the frequency and length of canters, albeit modified by wildlife sightings. I guess I'm a fan of the variety of trail rides.
Mostly single-file, but realistically that was dictated by the fairly high grass and density of vegetation.
