The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
The food was absolutely incredible! A gourmet meal for lunch on the first day created by the private chef Alex. There was variety but lots of sheep cheese and meat. There was always a vegetarian option (I'm not vegetarian but there were two in the group and I don't think they missed out). There was wine with the lunches and they even got us more beer when we asked. The meals at the camps were incredible. I don't think this part is highlighted enough and those worried about the food need not be! Nobody went hungry (or thirsty!!)
Some of the accommodation is basic but its comfortable. One of the nights ended up with a cold shower but always ended up with a good night's sleep. I'd recommend having a single tent, even if sharing with a friend. The tents were very cosy and so 1 tent per person is more comfortable and they happily changed this for us on the second camping night.

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?
The packing list was useful. Make sure you have warm clothes because despite Skopje being over 30 degrees it got chilly in the mountains and I was very grateful for my wooly hat and warm coat. Layers are definitely needed and sometimes your swapping around whilst riding because it does quickly go from warm to cold. A zip up fleece is recommended over a jumper (I made that mistake).

Please get some more up to date photos. Although the photos and videos on the site are good, Vasko has some incredible photos that could help market this trip better. It surpassed all my expectations!!! Also, the food. That was something I was a bit worried about because I had no idea what to expect but the private chef and the meals provided at the hotels surpassed all expectations! It was incredible
Hannah (this is their first In The Saddle holiday) Amazing Holiday | This was the most amazing experience I've ever had. In The Saddle don't so this trip justice. The horses are fantastic and very well cared for. Vasko has so much knowledge and he, Laura and Ramadan take a lot of time to match you with your horse. This is essential because the terrain is tricky in places and the "canters" are more like gallops and you need to know you're on the right horse to feel safe. The photos do not do this place justice. Macedonia is an absolutely beautiful country and it was an honour to be able to enjoy it on horse back
