Vivien who has been on 43 In The Saddle rides. Excellent | Moolmanshoek is stunning. An absolutely beautiful location with some of the best riding I've ever experienced. A mixture of long, fast canters across the plains and climbing up and down mountainsides, with views to die for. The two horses I was allocated were really good quality, especially Mojo who stole my heart. Special mention to Lindy who is an excellent, really professional guide who made the holiday so enjoyable and run smoothly.

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

I was allocated a very cosy room with a view of the fields and stables so could watch the horses from my bed. There was a fire in the grate to welcome me each late afternoon after getting home from the ride (cold nights as it is winter there).

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?

Just to mention, the details said we needed cash (in rand) to pay for the transfer to and from the airport. However, if you prefer, you are also able to pay for it by credit card when paying your final bill (for any extras) when leaving Moolmanshoek.

The whole team at Moolmanshoek were so friendly and professional, making the visit really enjoyable. Whilst we were there, by coincidence, there was a game capture session (for several days) to move some of the game to a different reserve. Was really impressive to watch the vet and the capture team at work.
