Nichola (this is their first In The Saddle holiday) An amazing holiday of a lifetime | The staff were very accommodating, taking the rides at the pace which you wanted to go, plenty of opportunities to canter on different tracks also walking through herds of zebra, buffalo as well as getting up close to rhinos, giraffes as well as many other animals on the reserve.
The horses are well behaved and well cared for.
I was unsure what to expect after having had an injury before Christmas I was worried that I would hold the ride back but I was given a couple of confident giver horses who totally looked after me and even gave some of the ponies a run for their money, coming back with smiles at the end of each ride after being made to feel like a teenager all over again.

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable with a lovely lady coming in twice a day one in the morning to make beds and clean and again in the evening to turn your bed down and putting mosquito nets around leaving a little bed time story on your pillow to read.
The food was plenty full and fresh from continental breakfast, afternoon tea with freshy made cake to a three course evening meal, they will even cater for the fussy who won’t try anything out of the norm, the staff couldn’t be more helpful.

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?

We were totally satisfied with all pre holiday info.

All I can say is WOW what a holiday!!! I really didn’t know what to expect and was a little apprehensive about the whole experience, but when I got there it was just Wow, helpful, friendly, fun, knowledgeable, would definitely recommend Ants Lodge to anyone wanting to experience a riding safari or even just a horse back holiday. Thank you for a wonderful experience and a lifetime of memories.
