The Riding
The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
Accommodations were a mix of small hotels and rooms at rural haciendas. All were in beautiful settings with several having pools. Food was plentiful and very good.
Before Your Holiday
Did you have all of the information you needed to:
How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?
I would have liked to have access to the ride leader sooner than we did. He was able to provide us will specific information regarding weather conditions and recommendations for packing at this time of year. I do think that direct contact should be established a minimum of 30 days prior to the ride to ensure all questions and information is exchanged timely.
Abbie from ITS replies: Prior to the holiday, the ride operator in Colombia does contact everyone joining the ride to create a WhatsApp group. Primarily this is so the group can keep in touch and find each other at Bogota airport if arriving on similar flights, it's also a way for you to keep in contact and share photos of the trip afterwards. The guide does also use this WhatsApp group to share information about the weather etc.)
How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?
All good.
Do you have any other feedback for us?
Recommend that potential riders be informed that some of this ride is on quite technical mountain trails, especially uphill and prior mountain riding experience is recommended.
Shanda who has been on 7 In The Saddle rides. Amazing Scenery, People and Horses | Riding through varied terrain, with beautiful mountain views, and through small towns and villages. Horses were well taken care of and very comfortable at all paces.
(Abbie from ITS replies: It was a pleasure to arrange your holiday in Colombia. Thank you for your lovely feedback.).
