The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
Our cooks were amazing and we certainly weren’t going to go hungry! Given the setting, the food was of a really high standard and afternoon tea was a lovely touch. We greatly enjoyed trying traditional African food around the camp fire.
My only comment was that the meals were meat heavy and a few of us would have enjoyed the veggie option at times, rather than meat twice a day.
Before Your Holiday
Did you have all of the information you needed to:
How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?
Our itinerary was great and also accurate. Cash was only needed for tips. For conservation fees etc they preferred card and did not have change for cash. We also met the lovely Abbie on the airplane who was off to check out another ride and she was super helpful to answer a few last minute questions!
[Abbie from ITS replies: It was fabulous to meet you on the plane - what a coincidence! So thrilled that you both had such a wonderful time. Thank you so much for your review].
How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?
None
Do you have any other feedback for us?
Every inch of this holiday was super well planned. The considerable number of transfers were smooth and we were never left having to work anything out.
The guides were what perhaps made this holiday and we cannot thank them enough for looking after us so well.
Sally (this is their first In The Saddle holiday) An adventure of a lifetime | South Africa was fast paced, fun and full of excitement. Botswana was slower paced, more serious and all about the wildlife. Both my horses were perfect for each leg.
