Carol who has been on 3 In The Saddle rides. I only had three lessons, one of which was only 30 minutes in the small indoor school (due to heavy rain). It is not easy to make significant progress in such a short time but even so I was very pleased with my personal progress. I have rarely ridden with double reins and rarely had the opportunity to ride schoolmasters.

My daughter had four lessons and made significant progress on the last lesson so she was well pleased.

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

The standard of food was beyond our expectations. The bedrooms, bar area and the dining room were all most comfortable and views of the countryside were fantastic.

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?

We think people should be made aware that they might not get the full experience if only going for a short break. For example, we were really keen to do the 'foal and mares' visit but found out at the end that this only happens once a week - nobody told us.

How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?

We did book quite late but it was quite difficult to get agreed dates between the agent, myself and my travelling companion.

Do you have any other feedback for us?

Generally speaking very peaceful and relaxed surroundings, friendly and helpful staff and no surfeit of rules which we are often subject to at home in the uk.
