African Explorer - Botswana and South Africa

Rachel (this is their first In The Saddle holiday) Amazing experience, great introduction to safari | Great riding with a variety of pace, terrain and relaxation. I personally enjoyed the rocky scrambling as it is amazing what the horses can do and added variety although you’d only want a bit of it - they got it just right!

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

Only issue we had was that some of the shower heads were a bit rubbish so the jet was coming out all over the place rather than on you!

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?

It was fine, thank you for your responsiveness and clarity even when we asked dumb questions!

This was a great holiday for our first horseback safari. Combining two sites with SA followed by Botswana was great as very different experiences with SA providing a great start with chance to meet the group and get used to the saddles and riding. Botswana was awesome and having the evening jeep safaris too allowed us to see all the wildlife in offer. Amazing knowledgeable guides, great food and company. Unforgettable experience.
