Estancia Los Potreros - Argentina

Fiona (this is their first In The Saddle holiday) A magical dream come true | This riding was fantastic. The scenery, the horses, the guides and the Gaucho's were the best ever. The horses were amazing and so calm, well trained, sure footed and kind. All the horses I rode were amazing and it was hard not to have a favorite. The skill they have in climbing up and down the mountains was fabulous and cantering across the plains was brilliant .

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

The whole experience on the Estancia was brilliant. The rooms were a very high standard with the added magic of a wood burner which was lit for you when you came back from the afternoon ride as we were there at the beginning of winter so it got a little chiller at night.

The food was such high quality and all homemade including the bread .We were totally spoilt.

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?

The pack sent before i went away had everything i needed in it.

In fact, in some cases too much information as it recommended we took a bum-bag with us for riding but we were all given our own saddle bags which did the job, so that's not needed.

Do you have any other feedback for us?

From the very first contact with Lucy at In the saddle, to arriving and staying on the Estancia, everything was perfect. Lucy having been a guide at Los Potreros had answers to all the questions I had and gave me lots of confidence and encouragement to go as I'm not the most experienced of riders. Every question was answered quickly and helpfully.

Once at the Estancia, Georgia, Kevin and the team were just brilliant. The riding was excellent, the room lush and comfy, the food amazing and the family atmosphere with the other guests was great.

An amazing adventure and not my last one.
