Serengeti Migration Safari - Tanzania

Serengeti Migration Safari

5 star rating   1 March 2026

Vivien who has been on 45 In The Saddle rides. Incredible experience | All the horses were well looked after, easy to handle on the ground and great to ride (I rode three in all). We had some fab long, fast canters across the plains (always alert for holes) and rode amongst the hundreds of thousands of migrating wildebeest. A unique experience. We saw a wide variety of game and loads of birds too.

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

The crew worked so hard pitching and moving tents and looking after us during and after the various downpours during the holiday (full-on African storms that were an experience in themselves!). The food was delicious and varied and the service provided was excellent.

Wonderful holiday. Guides Josie and Luke did a great job taking care of us and leading some great rides. The vastness of the scenery has to be experienced (very hard to describe) and seeing the migration in full flow was magical.
