The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
The accommodation is fairly basic but perfectly adequate for this type of holiday. I had a double bed with an en-suite shower/bathroom. Plenty of hot water as well as heating, and air conditioning although I didn’t require either in December/January. The bed was comfortable with plenty of linen and towels were provided.

This s a fantastic option for fairly competent riders. There is a good variety of terrain at varied pace’s. Plenty of fast canters and gallops and they do not insist on your standard one behind the other in the firebreaks, in fact quite the opposite ! When you are asked to ride in a particular order they put the fastest horses at the front so you aren’t battling to hold your horse back. Really well organised and lovely breakfast and lunch stops.
Lisa who has been on 6 In The Saddle rides. Galloping Into 2025! | The riding at Los Alamos was excellent with lovely quiet tracks in the forest and fantastic canters and gallops in the firebreaks and on the beach. I had a fixed smile on my face from the moment I mounted.
