Lise who has been on 2 In The Saddle rides. It was a great experience to ride the cool Icelandic horses. Exciting to try many different horses and explore a new way of riding.

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

The accommodation was in a small holiday house/hut and shared cabin, so basic, but in accordance with the information provided. So you must be prepared to sleep closely with your riding companions.
The food was plentiful and basic. I think it corresponds to ordinary everyday food in Iceland - and it is reflected that much must be imported and must be long-lasting, so don't expect gourmet food
However, the above is outweighed by the spectacular scenery, the horses and the riding

Do you have any other feedback for us?

Iceland was beautiful and exotic. Fantastic nature and landscape. Raw and beautiful.
Lovely strong happy horses with lots of energy. Exciting to get to know the Icelandic world of horses and the culture around horses and riding.
A very special experience to ride over black lava plains with 25 other riders and 60 loose horses in a herd. And a different kind of riding with pace and freedom.
The horses seemed to thrive, were well schooled and forwardgoing. And that applied to all the horses I rode - maybe 15 different ones. Tölt is fun. I even got to try flying pace once.
Definitely recommendable and well organized trip
