Jane who has been on 17 In The Saddle rides. Fun week riding on the beaches and in the forest | I wasn’t happy with the first horse selected for me - this wasn’t a problem and I was immediately given a horse I was much happier with and rode the whole week. This meant i really got to know him and had a great time

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

I was given the cottage which is desperately in need of a make over. The shower was minute and the shower curtain stuck to me every time I went on there ( yuk!) - and I’m tiny!
There was a problem with the plumbing late on in the week which didn't help matters .
The regular guests ( of which there were many) know which rooms to ask for as some are better than others.

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?

The operator works hard to make this a fun week -the food and wine was plentiful and very good. We had a day in Jerez which was fantastic - seeing the horse show was brilliant.
Some of the rooms though are a bit grim and not very comfortable. [In The Saddle replies: Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We are pleased you enjoyed the riding and visit to Jerez. The bathrooms started to be renovated in 2019, there are still some which are due to be done. Los Alamos are very sorry for the plumbing issues and worked to sort this as soon as possible.]
