How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?

It would be helpful and stimulating, for people like me, front South America, with very unfavorable currency, to pay in installments.
[In The Saddle replies: Thank you very much for your feedback. We are absolutely fine with clients paying in installments as long as the final balance is paid 10 weeks prior to the holiday. If booknig a last minute trip within this time frame, the full balance is due at the time of booking.]

Do you have any other feedback for us?

I found it very strange, even humiliating, this habit of giving tips to some people in some works. I come from a country where in many places (mainly in my state), people even refuse tips, because they think this is a devaluation of their work (taxi drivers, for instance). It means that their job is not well paid by their bosses or have value. Nowaday it has been argued this is an even colonialist practice and is implicit hierarchical relations among people (who have a very special expertise, like guides). I confess that this was the only thing I didn't like on this trip (if I am not wrong in some trips, with In the Saddle, I didn't see this): on the table, in the last day, to see 3 closed boxes for putting the tips were a bit shocking; I found that even degrading for our guides, so professionals.
[In The Saddle replies: Thank you for your comments on the tipping, it’s interesting how tipping is viewed by different cultures. In The Saddle is the agent and the tip policy is set individually by each ride operator. We always include a tipping guide in our booking pack as the process varies so much depending on where you are in the world, not only the amount, but how it’s paid and who to pay it to. We want to minimise any anxiety as we are aware that for some nationalities it is not common practice.]
