Helen who has been on 4 In The Saddle rides. Idyllic Holiday - Amazing location, fabulous horses and instructors | The riding was varied. We spent some time in the school which was extremely useful and the rest riding through vineyards, tracks and country lanes. The instructors were very knowledgeable, patient and thoughtful of our requirements. Both Janet and I would love to go back.

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

I don't know where to start. We had a fabulous stay. The apartment was in an old farmhouse and was large. We had a bedroom each. The kitchen/diner was a good size, as was the bathroom.

There are seating areas outside and a full sized swimming pool just for that one farmhouse which probably housed 6 apartments. The views are stunning. It was a short walk to the main reception areas where the restaurant is. The food and waiting staff were lovely. We had a home grown bottle of wine between the two of us each night.

The location is good for accessing Florence, Sienna and a number of other interesting places. A car is necessary to access these places.

There was also a spa at the resort which was within an easy walk of the apartment.

To say this was a holiday of a lifetime is an understatement.

As usual In the Saddle were excellent at organising and keeping us up to date with details of this holiday.

Best holiday ever. Fabulous balance of 2 hours horse riding each day, relaxing by the pool, spa day and places of interest to visit. And of course fabulous food.
