The Riding
The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
As described with varying facilities, but regardless, all felt pure luxury after a long day in the saddle.
Nice with a trip to a natural Hot-tub in the middle of the highlands
Before Your Holiday
Did you have all of the information you needed to:
How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?
A bit in doubt about what is the main entrance at BSI 🙂 - All were found.
And that is the entrance to the city.
If you have the opportunity to leave a clean (and dry 😉 ) set of travel/city clothes in Reykjavik - that would be a good idea. Sky Lagoon can be recommended after returning.
Do you have any other feedback for us?
Fulfilled my expectations and more!
Rode many different horses - changed 2-3 times/day. All wonderful good horses with very different personalities. The team knew every horse and were skilled at giving the right horses to the right riders.
Fantastic to ride with 120 loose horses who at times each had their own opinion about the route 🙂 They were well managed by the team who also kept a close eye on us guests.
Was lucky with the weather! Everything from freezing - sunny - cloudy - quiet - windy - rain - to really heavy rain. Sometimes on the same day. Fortunately, the day with really really heavy rain came on the last day.
Riding through the most beautiful most mountainous landscape overlooking the glaciers. Passed small and large rivers - through all kinds of terrain. The horses are impressively sure on their feet with fantastic balance both physically and mentally.
Nice food - well organized with food boxes and drinking bottles. We filled the food boxes ourselves. from the breakfast table (Good to have your own thermos cup with you for something hot) and good recommendation with some snacks (preferably a muesli bar - chocolate melts)
Clothes: as a recommendation -> layer on layer + wool is good!
Super nice little booklet that was praised by guests from other tour operators.
Thanks for the trip to Icelandshestar and Rid&Rejs!
Raja (this is their first In The Saddle holiday) Very healthy, capable, well-schooled horses.
Very skilled, sympathetic and top professional team with great hospitality ... and understanding of people.
Good sense of humour
Good mood
