Cape Gourmet Wine Trail - South Africa

Donna who has been on 40 In The Saddle rides. Cape Winelands Gourmet Trail - wow! | Well, didn't see that coming! We had the impression (wrongly) that we would be pottering along from vineyard to vineyard and the horses would be a bit like 'dobbins'! In fact, the horses were fabulous, very well cared for, lovely and lively, which meant we were able to go at a variety of paces with lots of canters and gallops before and after wine tasting! Excellent ride and our guide for the trip was brilliant making the trip really enjoyable and fun.

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

The accommodation throughout was excellent, even the night we stayed at the stables the accommodation was superb. Food…wow! An amazing feast from beginning to end.

This ride is truly understated. The whole trip was so much more than we had expected, I can't praise it enough and totally recommend to any budding wine enthusiasts or foodies.
