Ant's Lodges - South Africa

Sara (this is their first In The Saddle holiday) My dream South African adventure | The riding was excellent. I’m not particularly riding fit, so was mainly matched with others of the same ability. I always felt in control. The horses are very well cared for and I felt that every horse was suited to me and my ability.
The guides were very knowledgeable and tailored the rides to the group requests. They knew where to look for certain animals and we were able to get up close to many of them. The guides and volunteers were all beyond my expectations and I have learned so much about South Africa.
I asked about swimming with the horses, and they made this happen twice, which was one of my highlights.

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

The accommodation was exceptional and the housekeeping staff were very thorough. Being woken with a pot of tea every morning was lovely, and my bed being prepared every night with a different African fable was a really lovely touch. The food was plentiful and of very good quality

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?

I’m not sure there was anything more I needed.

I can highly recommend this holiday to anyone who wants to see African wildlife on horseback. The lodge staff, both guides, housekeeping and catering really go above and beyond to ensure that your holiday is the best it can be.
I definitely intend to return.
