The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
We were so lucky to have secured our own individual rooms, which added to our overall luxury experience, plus we had the Nest to ourselves for the first 4 days due to roofing works, which was really fortunate.
The food, accommodation, laundry- everything was the most perfect experience.
Everyone was so lovely, we adored Obey K, Yoyo, Sequirie (sorry spelling will be incorrect), Cat, Katie, Kim etc etc..... they couldn't do enough for us and their knowledge was phenomenal- such genuine lovely people!
We did suggest to them that they utilise the shop a little more and have local textiles for sale......we could have happily bought more to bring home- we especially loved their table cloths, runners and napkins.
Before Your Holiday
Did you have all of the information you needed to:
How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?
The only negative comment I have already passed onto Ants and Tanya which was not to inform people to take US Dollars as they are no longer a valid currency.
[Olwen from In The Saddle - we did update our information early in 2025 to reflect the fact that payment at Ants can only be by credit card, Rand or sterling cash. Unfortunately USD or Euro cash cannot be accepted. I am sorry if your itinerary wasn't clear on this.]
How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?
All good, no comments- thank you for your patience!
Do you have any other feedback for us?
I have already recommended Ants and ITS to my fellow Riding Club & Pony Club Members, I cant fault the whole experience- Thank you!
[Olwen from In The Saddle - Thank you for your recommendations and loyalty].
Ali (this is their first In The Saddle holiday) Like a dream- Just amazing- what an experience! | It is a tough life for the horses, but we loved the fact that they are let out to run in the reserve and they are well cared for- we were encouraged to watch them being fed and groomed, which we did and enjoyed - the quality of their hay and amount of hard feed given was great, plus the individual attention given to each horse was excellent.
