The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
All the accommodation was perfect and nothing was too difficult for the team, even asking for extra pillows at the guesthouses or extra hot water bottles at the camp sites. Alex and Gjogjitsa (sp?) were excellent chefs and the hot soup and spreads of salads at lunch times were delicious! Nearly all the food, including fresh sheep cheese, venison and wild boar were all locally sourced and everything was delicious. Vegetarians were easily catered for as well.
Before Your Holiday
Did you have all of the information you needed to:
How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?
I misunderstood the packing instructions and brought waterproof riding jodhpurs, however it would have been better to bring normal waterproof trousers to go over the top of your normal riding trousers.
How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?

Do you have any other feedback for us?
Vasko, the owner, jam-packs this holiday with amazing riding on excellent horses, comfortable accommodation in beautiful locations, and delicious, plentiful food and drinks. Every part of the week is well thought out and planned, and it's obvious that the team has taken on feedback from previous customers, such as having a small bag with extra dry clothes in the support vehicle, providing gel and sheepskin seat savers this year, and always asking us how they can improve the experience. My only (very minor) issue was that the holiday is so busy I didn't get much time to myself to read my book or chill, so just keep that in mind if you're someone that needs an hour or so to yourself each day. Nonetheless, I would absolutely 100% recommend this trip!
Bree (this is their first In The Saddle holiday) An epic week of riding in a stunning national park setting | Vasko and team provided super fit, well-educated horses who knew their job. The horses were very well cared for and extremely sure-footed on the rocky mountain terrain. Much of the tack was brand new this year (saddles, bridles and saddle bags) and the team made sure to stop and check several times a day for any rubbing or chafing. The riding scenery was beautiful and varied, from forests to meadows, lakesides to mountains. I would have appreciated more pace in the first two days, however toward the end of the week we had many more canters. I absolutely loved the 'rock and roll' races and only wish they were longer!
