The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
The catering far surpassed by expectations - I think the trip would be even better if at some of the camps guests were encouraged to help make dinner or the cakes one day if they chose. I am mindblown by what the lovely ladies and gents were able to make over an open fire!
I personally loved the kgotla - a bit more warning on the levels of dust in particular seasons may be helpful for some who struggled a bit.

Nothing to improve - it was seamless and we felt very well supported. Thank you so much.
How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?
It would be good to know if installment plans / standing orders / direct debits are a possibility, especially for the more expensive trips. [In The Saddle Replies: Thank you for you lovely feedback. We do welcome people paying for their holiday by instalments either regularly by standing order or irregularly as funds permit (just that each payment needs to be a minimum of £100).]

Roisin who has been on 2 In The Saddle rides. Out of this world experience. | The riding was perfect for me - we got lots of canters, a couple of gallops and the variety of terrain and type of riding we experienced far exceeded what I was expecting.
The horse I had been assigned was the perfect mix of brave and bold with a cheeky side, especially when we spread out for the fast canters. It was fantastic as I could see similarities to my own horse which made it really special. It was great to be assigned to a horse who enjoyed jumping so we could enjoy the optional extra jumping too! He was so brave and well mannered around the big game and so sure footed he made me feel very safe.
The horses were really well cared for and my horse in particular clearly adored his job - he was jumping for joy at getting out on the first day of safari.
The guides were phenomenal - so passionate about horses, wildlife and giving guests the best possible experience.
I’m really hopeful I can return in 2025!
