The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
From pick-up to drop off, I felt like I was part of the extended Los Alamos family. The hosts and extended family are all lovely and welcoming and the food was fabulous (although there's probably a little bit too much judging by my waistline). Nothing is too much trouble and if you would like any particular food or drink you just need to ask. I love the communal ranch house where everything is on tap.
Some days we would ride out early due to the heat and have breakfast out. Most days we would be taken out for lunch at a different venue when we returned and every place we went to was superb. Evening meals were spent at the Finca and I enjoyed a great variety of home-cooked meals with the other guests which were delicious. A great relaxing way to end the day.
I loved the fact that we had time to ourselves by the pool (or beach) in the afternoons too.
Before Your Holiday
Did you have all of the information you needed to:
How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?
Absolutely nothing to improve on, customer service par to none.
How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?
Again, customer service has been fantastic, hence why I'm booking again for next year 😉
Do you have any other feedback for us?
Just a very big THANK YOU!
Anne who has been on 3 In The Saddle rides. Stupendos Los Alamos!! | Los Alamos as a riding holiday experience far exceeded my expectations (and they were quite high as two friends have been previously). The horses are so well cared for and loved and are super fit and forward going. Rachel is an expert at matching the horse to the rider's experience and she got it right perfectly. I had two horses during our stay to ensure the horses get rested, but I could have changed again if I wanted to. I fell in love with both the Spanish mare called Camboria and the Arab gelding called Rio. The trails through the Forest and beach are very relaxing, mixed with canters and adrenaline-pumping gallops. I was transformed into a big kid and could actually race my mate on one gallop. We were very lucky with our group of riders as they were all interesting people from mixed backgrounds/ages and were accomplished riders.
The horses are carefully selected so you can choose your own pace.
Mid week we went on a trip to the Spanish Riding school and that was a good experience.
In a nutshell I loved it so much that I've already booked for next year so that say's it all!
