Jen who has been on 9 In The Saddle rides. Stunning adventure ride in a stunning untouched part of the world | My horse Aragorn was just the right level of challenge for me and I enjoyed riding him a lot. He was very comfortable and well mannered even if he did occasionally forget he had four legs.

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

The places we stayed were great, I liked all three places. They weren't top luxury but were in great locations and the staff were friendly. I was the only vegetarian and was well catered for. I enjoyed being away from Wi-Fi on certain days but this is not for everyone!

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?

I had enough information to make an informed decision on booking this holiday, but unlike some other trips I have done it was difficult to find out in advance exactly how far or for how many hours we would be riding day to day. Presumably this is to allow the hosts to stay flexible but I quite like knowing in advance how many long days/short days there will be.

I loved the Wild Coast and the remote feel of this ride. I enjoyed the mix of riding inland and along the beaches and the scenery and bird life was amazing. We even saw a Humpback! The guides were fabulous and the horses were lovely. If ever I get the opportunity in future I would do the Adventure Trail.
