Incredible food (and a lot of it!), rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed, even food on arrival! Great pool, lovely hosts, all in all a fabulous week! No complaints 🙂

We had a really fabulous family holiday in Crete at the Velani Country Hotel & Stables through In the Saddle over Oct half-term 2023. Great riding for all abilities, wonderful food, friendly staff and comfortable accommodation. Just 40mins from the airport and 30mins from the beach so it was great to have the option to split our time between riding and exploring.
This was our first riding holiday as a family but definitely won't be our last! Highly recommend both the Velani Hotel and In the Saddle.
Kate (this is their first In The Saddle holiday) Wonderful family riding holiday! | Our instructors were great, very knowledgable and very hard working. They matched our lessons and hacks to our experience which was varied, and were happy to accommodate any requests to switch horses or add on extra lessons or hacks throughout the week.
