The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
Again, the accommodation and food far exceeded our expectations - the rooms were beautiful with the most comfortable of beds and the food was just superb - not to mention the drink! It was totally 5 star all the way. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff. Kevin and his team were the very best of hosts who couldn't do enough for us - the 'surprise' events that happened in the evenings were a real treat too!
Before Your Holiday
Did you have all of the information you needed to:
How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?
Everything was perfect - thank you In The Saddle - we had the most memorable experience ever.
How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?
Everything was just fine - thanks again. Very good of Abbie to call us all a couple of days before we departed to check we were happy with everything.
Do you have any other feedback for us?
This being my 10th In The Saddle holiday - every one of which has been fabulous - but overall Los Potreros was the best! It was a big dream of mine to go to South America and it did not disappoint in any way. I cannot quantify what a wonderful time we had - there were 8 of us in our group, 3 of whom were new to In The Saddle holidays, and we were all blown away with the standard of everything from the horses to the hospitality.
I cannot recommend Los Potreros highly enough to anyone looking for a great riding holiday experience.
Gwen who has been on 10 In The Saddle rides. Absolutely amazing time had at Los Potreros, Argentina | The riding experience way exceeded our expectations! All the horses were wonderful - we rode different ones on each ride which I was a bit unsure about, but it totally worked. The Pasos in particular were a delight to ride with their fifth gait - so comfortable. We soon mastered the Western style riding with one hand and neck reining - all the horses were so much fun, very sure footed over some rough terrain at times and totally responsive to whatever speed we went at - the 'Gallop-e' was great fun, especially across the polo field!
The whole week was totally amazing with wonderful terrain and scenery but the highlight had to be the two days of rounding up the cattle to bring them into the corrals for vaccinations. Watching the gauchos at work was fascinating. All the gauchos and guides were such good company out on the rides and we learnt a lot about the wildlife and farming there.
[Abbie from In The Saddle replies: We are so pleased that you had such special experiences and enjoyed your holiday so much. Thank you for taking the time to tell us about it].
