Josie who has been on 3 In The Saddle rides. Kambaku Safari Lodge | The riding far exceeded my expectations. The horses are all clearly very well trained and it was clear that they knew their job. The pacing of the rides was perfect and I was very well-matched to my horse. The guides were very friendly and attentive throughout the rides, and always made sure the rides were interesting and different each morning / afternoon.

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

The accommodation and food was excellent. The rooms were spacious, beautiful and very well maintained. The food was exceptional. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner was always delicious. I really appreciated that the lodge really took care to ensure all the food was locally grown or hunted (including from within the grounds).

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?

All the information was really clear. Perhaps the itinerary section of the information leaflet was a little repetitive. But otherwise I definitely had enough practical information to help prepare. It was also nice to receive a call from Abbie a couple of days before leaving to check that all my questions had been answered and I was ready to go.

It's hard to express how wonderful Kambaku actually was. The staff are so attentive and the whole experience is so well thought through. The attention to detail of the lodge was impressive and it is managed seamlessly. Every member of staff was patient, kind and knowledgeable and clearly wanted you to have the best experience imaginable. I can't wait to go back.
