Kambaku Safari Lodge - Namibia

Kambaku Safari Lodge

5 star rating   1 March 2023

Andrea (this is their first In The Saddle holiday) Absolutely amazing! | The riding was very nice with well-trained horses and skilled guides. It was an amazing experience to see wildlife on horseback.

I really appreciate the flexibility in order to meet both mine and my daughter's needs. My daughter was super pleased with the holiday and really appreciated to go on rides with just her, her friend and a guide.

The sundowners and bush-breakfast was superb! I cannot recommend it enough.

Nice rooms, lovely staff and surroundings.

The staffs flexibility and attention to the guests was excellent. Really liked that the children were given special food upon request.

Really good options for non-riding partners.

Do you have any other feedback for us?

As Petra already mentioned, anyone travelling with minors should bring a photo of the other parent's passport in addition to the affidavit.

[Abbie from In The Saddle replies: Thank you for your feedback. The current entry requirements are as follows:

- Parents travelling with children (under 18) should in addition to valid passports, carry the original or certified copy of the full unabridged birth certificate.
- Adults travelling with children where they are not the biological or legal guardians of those children, should be in possession of an affidavit statement from the child’s parents giving consent for their travel. If a child is travelling with only one parent, the other parent should give consent for travel in the form of an affidavit.

There is no mention of providing a copy of the passport of the other parent when only one parent is travelling with the child. We appreciate you letting us know that you were asked to show a copy of your husband's passport and we are waiting for a response on this from Namibia's Ministry of Home Affairs.]
