Joanna who has been on 3 In The Saddle rides. More than fantastic! | The riding is fast and varied. Saddle savers are to be recommended as there are long hours in the saddle and the bottom needed them! Walking/riding boots were a good shout as the walking times needed good soles. The horses were very good yet fast and when we got caught in a Biblical hail thunderstorm, none of them misbehaved despite the hail being really quite painful!

The whole experience exceeded expectations.

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

The food was more than plentiful with much care taken to serve local and traditional food. The lunches were wonderfully set out in the middle of nowhere. Evening meals were very varied and always very plentiful.

The accommodation varied considerably but it has to be remembered that the area is remote and facilities reflect the geography of the area. The camping was very comfortable and well thought out.

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?

Not sure as the booklet was very handy. We referred to it along the way for the extra information that became more relevant when we were actually in situ.

Do you have any other feedback for us?

It is a challenging week but one for which we were well prepared given the information provided and reading other riders' reviews. It was quite the most fantastic week which none of us in our group wanted to end. We thoroughly enjoyed the company of the other riders who were all very competent and nobody held anyone back. The organisation by Vasko and his team was extremely efficient and the week was definitely enhanced by the company of Wesley, one of the other leaders. He filled us in with lots of extra information about the country and the incredible scenery.

When there was a problem with one of the horses, their backup system worked extremely neatly and hardly any time was lost at all.

All in all, it was one of the most impressive holidays I have been lucky enough to experience and not sure how one can better it.
