The Riding
The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
I LOVED both the food and the accommodation. But what I loved about it might not be for everyone. After a long day of riding, having a meal cooked over a camp fire and then snuggling into a duvet within a waterproof sleeping bag on a camp bed, with my hat on to keep warm, looking up at the amazing stars meant that I went to sleep every night with a big smile on my face.
The food was way beyond expectations. The team turned out some superb food every day and I could not believe how good it was given their facilities. I would have certainly settled for less but there was no need - the coffee was fresh and strong, each meal was tasty, filling and fresh and I was always in awe of how it was produced. The kitchen trailer was SO well thought out.
Before Your Holiday
Did you have all of the information you needed to:
Sue who has been on 7 In The Saddle rides. Adventurous, exciting, inspiring and humbling | The riding was often thrillingy fast and we had regular canters. We went up and down steep rocky slopes often and along ridges. On the flats there was SO much room in many places for us all to spread out that it often felt like you had the desert to yourself. I have my own horse and ride often at home and I found it challenging at times. But in a really good way. My horse was amazingly fit for the job and made the riding easier for me. Did the riding meet expectations? No, it exceeded them!
