Hestasport Escapes - Iceland

Kerry (this is their first In The Saddle holiday) One of the best holidays ever! | The riding exceeded all of my expectations. The horses were incredible, very willing, jolly but safe - they made us smile every day!
The riding was on tracks, across grassy plains, through river delta's and up mountains. We walked, tolted and galloped.
We helped tack up (although weren't expected to) the horses were very well cared for and the stable area was clean and tidy. All of the tack was in reasonably good condition.

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

The cabins were clean, comfortable and provided everything we needed to self cater. The beds were fine, although another pillow would have been nice. Dressing gowns and crocs were provided for the hot tub which was a nice touch.
We cooked every day and got most of our provisions from the local supermarket. Iceland is expensive, but there was a really good choice of food available.
One light bulb was missing in our main living area but it did not cause us a problem. The TV showed some British TV.
The shower was good.

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?

We were delighted with the little folders which included everything we needed for our holiday.
