The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
The breakfast table was just sparse enough. There needed a slightly larger supply of eggs / bacon. Also lunch and dinner which was characterized by too much salad and too little meat. The food was in really good quality but was just healthy enough for our tastes. Note that we were 4 gentlemen on horseback and they were not used to men coming. In fact, they even noticed that we would probably find the food just a bit too healthy. And they were right. !!
I think most people will find the food super.
The wines were a bit on the expensive end

We will definitely be back. We have ridden several places in Portugal now and Quinta Do Rol is definitely one of the best we have tried.
Ole who has been on 4 In The Saddle rides. Quinta do Rol | It was really good horses and similar instructors who took the lessons very serious and with great enthusiasm. We really learned a lot.
