Lots of really good food with great variety. Vero can create up the most amazing dishes over a campfire. Snacks when we had un-tacked the horses for the day and good lunches out on the ride.

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?
I did not miss information before the holiday, but itinerary can be updated a bit, for example, no water bottle is handed out, but Pierre and Veronique provide purified drinking water.
[In The Saddle replies, thank you for highlighting this. We have discussed with the ride operator and the recommendation is now for guests to take their own water bottle. There are a few to borrow at Shine Valley, but most people prefer to take their own.]
Do you have any other feedback for us?
In every way a perfect and amazing ride that I can warmly recommend to those who love nature, silence, animals and good company. It is the most challenging terrain I have ridden in and I continue to be impressed by how well the horses do! As my departure approached, I became very worried about a possible encounter with bears, but as soon as I met Pierre and Veronique I could feel that they have the necessary knowledge and experience to make me feel 100% safe in all situations. On the ride there were 2 dogs who did night wathcing and during the day was the most lovely pets.
The actual journey to and from the ride Melina arranged and there was simply control of everything, big and small, which helps to make the experience even better.

Gitte who has been on 3 In The Saddle rides. The horse I had was absolutely perfect according to my wishes and super sure-footed in the very challenging terrain. Well-kept and well-kept, equipment in perfect order.
