Nicola who has been on 2 In The Saddle rides. Quinta Do Rol - Fantastic | The riding was fantastic. We were not the most experienced riders but the instructors never made us feel awkward about that. They were enthusiastic, encouraging and had a wealth of knowledge to impart. Our riding really developed during our stay and each lesson was the perfect mix of being challenging and fun. The riding centre itself is incredibly well run and the horses were amazing.

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

The accommodation was immaculate and comfortable. Rita and Carlos make everyone feel so welcome and prioritise your comfort. They set the tone for all the staff at Quinta do Rol who could not have been more helpful. The pool and lounges were great and fridges were well stocked. The local food was delicious, all home cooked and just right for riding in that you had lighter options for breakfast and lunch before your lessons. The wine on offer from the estate was also fantastic.

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?

I cannot think of how it could be improved - it was great!

How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?

Again I cannot think of how it could be improved. We were slow to fill in the forms so Abbie was great in calling us to get the information which worked well for us and fitted in with our work schedules. Abbie was also great in assisting moving our transfers when our flight was delayed.

Do you have any other feedback for us?

I cannot recommend Quinta do Rol highly enough. Rita and Carolos set the tone with such warm, welcoming enthusiasm which carries throughout the estate. The riding centre was fantastic and the instructors could not have been better. They were enthusiastic, encouraging and had a wealth of knowledge to impart. We are looking forward to retuning !
