How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?
The advance information said all rides had to be booked in advance. In fact the Lodge were very flexible about booking extra rides when we were there. The pre holiday information does say that they will help arrange an appropriate programme of activities but I had not anticipated how far they would go to do this. (They found sthe perfect birdwatching guide for us, and also arranged an evening session watching a water hole from a hide.)
How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?
All went as smoothly as ever.
Chris who has been on 9 In The Saddle rides. Wonderful chance to see African wildlife up close | Exceeded expectations. The guidance had said that riding would be tailored to our preferences. We had assumed that meant a compromise between our preferences and that of the other half dozen people we would be riding with. Not so. The Lodge took seriously that we were less troubled about long canters than we were about seeing and learning about the wildlife. Most days we rode with only a guide, and we were allotted the one who was also a game ranger. We had some amazing encounters with the game on the reserve.
